Another Trip to the 1/8th Mile...VIDEO

Nothing spectacular.

Just bored and decided to post some videos.

Ran a best of 8.9 @ 81 with a sorry 2.2 60ft (My tires are VERY limiting) on both days. Keep in mind this is a parking lot with no track prep. LOTS of wheel spin. I lost a lot of ground on some of my runs due to wheel spin when shifting to 2nd as you can see. Nothing you can do about it unless I baby it into 2nd. Even the AWD cars have trouble as you can see in the vids.

Did a total of only 14 runs (usually do around 30-40) in the second video but only captured a few. Hung out most of the night with the Z guys.

Mods:
5/16 spacer
MREV2
Test Pipes
X02
Osiris

Future mods:
Vortech
Headers
Motordyne Art Pipes
Clutch/flywheel
4.08 FD

Got plans to go to Sacramento Raceway on the 27th with the family and Auto Club Speedway on the 4th (hopefully) for the 1/4. :icon21:

Lots of runs in one night !!!!!.... You are right, too much spinning....I like the last two passes with the Evo. With the 4.083 FD, shifting between gears will be shorter and if you
race there again, you will for sure need some DRs.

The Stang won. A lot of the stang guys are pretty modded. I'm surprised that I can even keep up with some of them.

That black one that smoked me has bolt-on, gears and nitrous.

Wish I can get more mods, but the Holiday season just isn't the right time for me to buy mods.

BTW, it wasn't a good day for the S2000 crew. One hit the wall and the other broke his diff at launch. These guys were running hard.

Looks like someone got me on video from the outside this time. (3:28 in video).
