Most of that info looks accurate.

FOR 2003-2006 model years

6MT = all have 3.5 FD from factory.

X = 3.5 FD from factory for all years

5AT Sedans = 3.3 FD from factory

5AT Coupes = 3.3 FD (2003-2004), 3.5 FD (2005-2006)

(I'm not 100% certain on 2005-2006 5AT coupes, but this is my findings/belief based off local friends vehicles)

My 2005 5AT coupe had the 3.3 FD, no VLSD. Also did not have a sports package.

The AT had taller gears than the MT. Not until 5th did the mt gears get as tall as the AT. So we get screwed twice!

Gear ratios
( :1) 5 A/T 6 M/T
1st 3.540 3.794
2nd 2.264 2.324
3rd 1.471 1.624
4th 1.000 1.271
5th 0.834 1.000
6th - 0.794
reverse 2.370 3.446
Final drive ratio
( :1) AT/MT 3.357 3.538

^That's because 6th in the MT is a taller gear than 5th in the AT. That makes up for the shorter gear in the rear-end.

Yes.

The only part I'm not sure about is whether or not 5AT coupes have 3.5 FD. My friends 2006 runs at 3200-3250 rpms (pretty sure he's got 3.5) and he is bone stock.

My G35 is back on the road

2003 5AT Coupe (cdn model) with 3.7

2500 @ 60 mph

3200 @ 80 mph

Note: My CC work at ~60 mph but at ~70 mph or more I get the blinking light and no go.

70 MPH huh? hrmm

Maybe your staggered wheel setup changes things from my sedan.

3.69 gears are about 10% increase over stock. Stock limit is 90 MPH, and at 10% over stock it seems like it should work up to 81.8 MPH for the variance if my calculations were correct.

How do you like the 3.7s?
