Might as well get rid of that heavy useless part of your car then. Lighter is better right?

20 degrees would feel like spring. It's sad when 10 degrees starts feeling kinda warm. My car is staying warm at highway speed, but I do notice that a 72 degree cabin temp on -2 degree day is not like a 72 degree cabin temp on a 35 degree day. Another thing I noticed is that when the climate control is in auto (AC off), when the temps are below 10 degrees, the defrost comes on. I switched the CC to manual to disengage the defrost and guess what? The windows started fogging. Those fancy pants Nissan engineers, I tell ya.

Hopefully removing the axle, driveshaft, and chassis bolts is easy. My diff and bolts don't have significant rusts and I do have air tools, though I don't know how accessible some of the bolts not will be with an impact gun. The diff isn't near has heavy as I thought. Feels like 55 to 60lbs, maybe.

you will likely not have any room for your air gun...maybe for the half shafts.

the diff I have is 81# without fluid. Maybe yours doesn't have the VLSD? haha j/k

When you take off the driveshaft bolts (4) You will need to loosen/remove the bottom 2 and then put it in neutral spin it 1/2 turn and get the other 2. Once you get those 4 off you can freely spin the half shafts and remove those as long as the E-brake isn't on.

nah, it's 80 lbs... it's the 75lb dumbell workouts that make it seems lighter

No, not R2D2! My name is Nfsp. Pronounced exactly how it's spelled... no vowels. It's not my fault though, when they asked my mother what she wanted to name the baby she sneezed

Then give them to me. I'll trade you my nice light ones (You're all about lightness) Heck, the pass side is manual, it can't weigh anything!

You're thinking about it wrong. Not "Athen" pronounced like the last bit of Jonathon... Athon like "Ay-Thon" Long A + end of marathon

Why do I stir up so much trouble?

you're right - it would be Athon - but I would still pronounce it Athen (like Nathan but don't ask why an e instead of an a) Athen just seems right to me... I think that's what I shall call him (unless I remember to type Athon instead )

It sounds like we are naming a pet Sorry John, err I mean Athen/Athon...

Yep. No joke. I doubt if they built them much after 03. Mine is almost base. I do have leather and a sunroof though.

Yeah, okay, the pumpkin is heavy. I had to get it out of my car and take it into my basement last night. It was MUCH heavier going up and down stairs rather than just picking it up and putting it in my trunk.

Aren't you just going to press it up with you left hand while securing the bolts with your right?

You know it.

Seriously, though, I'll probably get a tranny jack attachment or rent one. I could build something for my floor jack, but I'd rather just do it the right way and not risk it.
