Played hookie and completed this today. Took me about 2 hours with taking my time and having some trouble getting the assembly back in. Went out for a ride and it feels great! This combined with the other pedal spacer mod has given a much improved feel when shifting.

The second DIY has a bit more of a permanent method, but the idea is the same. Essentially, you're adding a spacer to the activation points in the clutch assembly which decreases the pedal travel. I have it and like it, but I suggest following the less permanent solution first to see if it's something you like before going the permanent route.

I hear ya man! That's why I love this forum as well as the car. I never would have thought to take out that spring if it hadn't been for G35driver. Plus, the best mods are the ones that only take a little bit of elbow grease and know-how.
