DIY: LS2 350z Begins..
The car is a Silver 2004 Nissan 350z that I bought in June and originally turbo'd and got bored with it within a few months which is why im doing the car now. I recently purchased an 05 LS2/t56 drop out with low miles. My original plans were to drop in a PTE 78 and do a custom front mount turbo system but after taking a **** load of measurements theres simply just not enough room and I refuse to do a rear mount...so gonna stick with the old nitrous setup this year Next year after the car has been running for a while, ill most likely cut up the front end and turbo it. I dont have alot of pictures yet(there really isnt anything to take pics of yet)..but as everything starts coming along I will add pictures.
Im using the Hinson supercars swap kit along with his 1.875" long tubes into a custom exhaust ill be making. My plans for right now are just a decent size cam (238/240) a 150 shot and all supporting mods. My cars curb weight is 3188 and ill be removing a few lbs trying to get the car down to 3100 with the LS2 in(no a/c). Heres a few pic of the previous set up..and some of the new.

Well, while waiting for my stuff to get in I decided to roll my fenders. Now you can only roll the fenders so much before you run into issues with paint cracking...however in my case I want as much room as I possibly could. So my body guy told me to just roll them and do whatever I had to do and he will go in smooth, and repaint the quater panels. So I went to town with the fender roller completely flattening the fenders. If you notice on the pics the fender sticks out a little bit past the rear bumper. Thes either going to push that part back in a little bit or pull the bumper out..with how much pressure I put on the fender roller it seemed to slightly(2-3mm) pull the fenders out and actually looks really good. When I bring it to him hes going to see if he can get a few more out of it before getting into major body work..any little bit helps. Heres the pics:**sorry for the ****ty cell phone pics**
Heres the fender roller in action(its for sale now..210$shipped in great condition with all hardware and instructions)
You can see how far up I folded them..I have big tires to fit back there haha
Here you can see what I was talkin about with the fender being pulled out a bit..
Heres the new *** view...it looks so much better with wheels/tires that actually fill the wheel wells..
