Easy Ecu Resetting
when i try the disconnect battery for 15 minutes-- with the brake pedal method, to reset my ecu, i can't turn the ignition to "on" with the battery disconnected, so that i can depress the brake pedal with it in the "on " position. am i missing something? i have the intelligent key feature, if that matters.

Alternatively, you can leave the battery disconnected over night.
Or just not worry about. The ECU should adjust over time, assuming we are talking about a relatively minor change.
Will this process work for a 2006 G35 6MT? Will the battery disconnect work? I have just given my car its first oil change and it feels like a fat pig. The tune is definately in Granny mode. When I floor it the thing doesn't even move until it gets over that initial build up of power but by that time the other car is gone.

ECU Resetting.................
This is almost a joke.......it's like people can't read or comprehend what
there seeing. On page one you tell them how to and the very first post
asks a stupid question you've already answered. In the begining maybe
you should have told them to pull the negative side of the battery cable
and leave it off for an hour....then reattach.....then someone would ask
"how tight"............doooooooow

The only methods I know of are to do the pedal type reset and the battery disconnect type reset.
