Red Gump may not come along afterall....something about g's & z's being too slow. j/k

Anyway, you guys may need to delegate to another observer for 'marshalling' services.

Getting bent with liteswap.com. Stainless lines were ordered 3 weeks ago. Not here....

Very stoked about the weekend. Anyone else a little anxious about tearing up their car? Not talking about crashing, just beating it up being hard on it. This is the first vehicle I've given a **** about in some time. I think if the track bug bites me, I'll pony up for a spec miata or something to beat on and leave the g for the street.

Anywho, looking forward to meeting you guys. John & I +2 should be up there by 8:00ish. Post where you guys feel like grabbing food & beer.

I think Levent and I will be the first ones there at 6PM or so. If we don't see you before we leave for dinner, we will leave a message at the front desk. Just ask for a message left by TrackHoRX8 or MoodDude.
3 Days left - 87/69 - 30% chance of T-Storms

Look like the temps will be good for us, unlike Roebling where it got up to 96!!!

If you use this event correctly - and future events, you will learn how to drive your car safer and faster, thus keeping your ride in one piece. Now, your brake pads, oil and tires will take a beating at this event.

Are the Bell full face street zephyr helmets suitable/allowed for this track's recquirements? I'm still looking to buy a helmet (last thing I need on Trackhorx8's list) and i've found you can buy these at Walmart. I have no idea if these are Snell approved. I'm going to find out later today...

$360 for four 255/35/19 pilot sports, mounted and balanced.
they have about half tread left so hopefully they will last the day.

You just should make sure that the helmet has a SA2000 rating or better on it. It will be marked on the inside of the helmet, if it is not, than it isn't rated for a car. Mine is under the inside padding, so look everywhere on the inside.

DAMN IT!!! well kinda, i order my sparcos three weeks ago and they finally came in today!! well one of them. i am throwing it in as we speak. it weighs exactly 24.5 pounds w/o the slider with just the mount , i think i like it better w/o the slider. it sits perfectly, just no big OR fat people can drive it.... hehehe

slider is 6 more pounds, so screw it. looks like i will be fully stripped down for the track event. i really dont care. my girlfriend is driving up anyways, her and erics girl will probably go shopping and talk about their feelings and stuff. so if anyone else wants to get rid of their girl during the day. they can have a nice caravan to the mall i hope she doesnt read this...

Dude - I bet a milk crate weighs less than 2 #, maybe you could take out the seat and just sit on that.
