Is it possible to upgrade from stage 1 stillen to stage 2?

Im still debating which supercharger to get but i was wondering if its possible to buy stage one then upgrade to stage 2 after if soo how and where do they sell the kit? I know its not good to run F/i with something to cool it down...but its mainly for the purpose its hard for me to save alot of money at once so its kinda like buying it so i dont spend it...

You can do the stage 1 and then upgrade to the stage 2 later of you want. The only difference between the 2 is the heat exchanger which sits in front of the radiator and the intercooler. You can try stillen or some other vendors also sell the kit.

there is a little more to it then that.you have the frt mount heat exchanger in the frt and also a i/c under the upper and lower plenum halves.
when you go to stage 2 from stage 1 you have to remove the upper plenum and install the i/c,wire up the coolant pump and install, run the coolant hoses ect.
it easier to just go straight to stage 2.....trust me i know.

Im just curious.

Why would anyone get Stillen Stage 1 over Stage 2?

Not only do you get more power, you get a warranty for a decent price compared to Stage 1.

Maybe im missing something I dont know.

.

To go from Stage 1 to Stage 2 you need to send the blower back to Stillen and have them add the IC below the blower. Then you add the front heat exchanger, water pump, hoses, higher boost pulley and re-tuned SS box.

Just start with stage 2 and save yourself a lot of headache.

hey tim you do not have to send the blower back to stillen.i went from stage 1 to stage2 and i installed everything myself from stage 1 to stage 4.
you have to remove the blower and upper plenum, knock out the plugs on the left and right side of the plenum.then you install the ic under the plenum and bolt everything back up.then install heat exchanger up frt, cooling pump relocate overflow tank install the coolant hoses and wire it up.

That would be a hassle...

Edit: Sorry for going off topic, but it's amazing to me how heavy the front end feels now. I think the kit adds about 100 lbs...feels like I have a hippo sitting on the hood sometimes.

Very nice. I knew you "could" do it but I didn't think Stillen would let you. That would have been my 1st question to them if I had considered the stage1.
