This brings up questions for me as well. If you just had work done by the dealership, and a few days later something goes. I would suspect something awry from the dealership.

thats what I am going to check when I get home...I havent had any issues with my car at all until having the transmission worked on and the oil done this past week...what I am curious of is that i have been having trouble trying to start the car...or having it turn over..need to give alittle gas to turn over....

when this happend and I got underneath the car my starter is pretty much just snapped in half..I will get pics up tonight of it..I have them on my camera...

here is what it should look like...wait until later...

check your receipt from the dealer... it usually says how many qts of oil they put in. If they only put in 5, i would go and raise hell

I have to give it some gas now, I think cause of the bigger injectors. Dont think that would have caused your problems...... Curious as to what the dealership may have done....

I have starting problems only after I fill-er-up on gas. Takes 2-3 rounds of some continued cranking for 4-5 seconds. And I have 440s and walbro...no fuel return line.

i agree... bigger injectors cause the car to "hesitate" a bit before it starts. almost like the car is in limp mode for a second or two, and then roars to life. it happens with most FI setups.

also, i doubt this blown engine can be traced to the procharger itself. let's not be so quick to judge... more than likely, it was the tune, which mysteriously cuts off at mid-5k RPM . also, u'r A/F ratio seems WAY too rich... mine stays between 11.5-12.0 until close to redline, when it leans out a bit.

Yup, I'm at 11.5, and at redline I lean out to 12.0. Mid 10's sounds a bit rich to me as well. We'll know once the teardown is done I guess.

It would not matter if the dealer put in just 5 qts as that is what the engine takes. He has a spacer which gives the added protection of 1 more qt.
