My Infiniti Dealer is awesome
This is a shot of my local dealer Lokey Infiniti at 6:30 on a Friday night as they work on the final touches of my vortech s/c installation. Unfortunatley it was not completed, it will be completed Monday. Be prepared for a full write up on how a used s/c with it's programming will work on another car. Should be very interesting to see how well SplitSecond works from car to car, albeit coupe 6MT to sedan 5AT. Needless to say I can't wait to ge the car back Monday. This weekend will be rough. I've heard people rave about how fun their loaner is, but you won't hear that from me. I can't wait for my car to come back. I did some first time things, I think, to make everything work and hope those will add to the horsepower in the end. Stay tuned (pun intended)

Who can help me with a better solution for this....
The gauges just don't look right. I want them to look as stock as possible. color matched with a clean fit. Is my only option fiberglassing them?
Edited by gspot35 on 07/30/04 09:38 PM.

Re: My Infiniti Dealer is awesome
First..does your pillar have that material on it like the coupe ? If so..no help here . Second...going from a MT to a AT5 ...did you have your rev limiter raised to 7,200rpm ? You will need that if you want it to shift in Auto . Third...Did you use Scott's smaller pulley , 3.125 or 2.87 ? Be very careful till its tuned , as his tune for the coupe may be way off from what you need...dont know..better to be careful than blown up....good luck...Scotts blower is kick a$$$$$
Couldnt afford it when young...gonna play when Im old

Re: My Infiniti Dealer is awesome
Pics will be up tomorrow along with a more thorough impression write up. I have had a great time driving this car since I picked it up. It's like buying a new car for only a few grand. The power delivery is awesome, and seems the tranny and traction seem to be doing fine. I'm dyno'ing Friday at CostalDyno. Same guy esemes went to.
