After 3 years of patiently waiting
and quite a few dreamer threads, i'm finally about to begin my FI project
My goals for this are really mild (no more than 450-475rwhp) as this is a sedan that hauls my kids around on occassion. That being said, I found a pretty good deal on a used Powerlab kit w/ custom intake manifold, HKS blow off valve, turbo blanket, some heat wrap, and a Hydra EMS (which I'll be posting for sale tomorrow, once I take appropriate pictures). This is going to be the first A) time doing any sort of wrenching on my car, and B) doing any FI, so I will probably need your help during this process. I'm looking at starting the install within the next 2 weeks.
See, I failed when I went up to pick up the kit in SF (made a weekend trip out of it). On the way home, I left the intercooler behind
either way, he said he's going to ship it out to me this week.
That being said, anyone have a PDF of the install instructions they can send me? I'm going to search, but if i can get a copy from someone here, that would be appreciated.
(also posted in the Sedan section, in case those guys don't come here)

With the turbo supplied, is 450-475rwhp attainable? I remember reading a thread on my350z where there were issues with the 35R and the PL kit.

No wrenching experience and you are taking this on yourself good luck you will need it. Also you said Sedan....auto trans?? Any upgrades to it?? If not you better look into that as well. I love boosted sedans so i can't wait to see the results.
**edit*** i just spotted what appears to be a SFR intake mani or one very similar to the SFR, I really can't wait to see it installed now!!!

But I'm approaching this as I do to my nursing career: just dive head first, ask questions on things I don't know, and research those answers. Only way I'll know WTF I'm doing
As for my sedan: it's a 6MT, bone stock because I knew I was going FI one day. It's about a 15hr install (per instructions) but i'm figuring it'l take me 2-3x as long...cause I'm gonna take my sweet a$$ time to make sure I got everything the way it should be. Hopefully I'll learn creative ways to use expletives...cause I know I'll tire of the same ol ways to swear, LOL

Theres quite a few SME's on this kit around the site. Plenty of help to get the job done and some more threads over on 350z. This is the same kit i am going with next yr maybe this year if things fall into place. You should easily get 375 out of the kit and you can turn up the boost later on.

So far, all I've got hoarded in the garage are the PowerLab kit, front and rear camber arms, new rims, some injectors and a fuel pump. While doing the install, gotta get funds together for a clutch/flywheel, and some guages.

SME's? Don't know that acronym. But you're right there are lots of threads and help on the forums.
Thanks. Hopefully it doesnt kill me doing the install.
