he should have just waited,by the end of this year stillen will have a much larger blower out.they would not tell me the specifics but it has to be the m90 and if it is look out.they said it will work with the stage 4 set up with a few changes and will stay under the stillen hood.

Will it use the existing stillen plenum and intercooler as well? If the 90 is much larger it is going to be pretty tight to make it fit under the hood. Maybe they will just make it longer so that they can do away with the weak 4 rib belt.

stillen wont give any specifics yet,as far as length goes, eaton has plenty of different snouts you can use on the front of the blower.and yes i would think they would have to get rid of that puny belt.

I have not decided 100% if I am going to sell the kit or not. Does anyone have an idea of what this Stillen upgrade is going to cost. If they were charging $900 for the stage 4 kit I am afraid a new blower, new SS box and whatever else they include would be like $2k!

I just like the idea of making 15-20% more power than I am now at over 2psi less boost with almost no lag. I drove a TT G35 last week and was amazed at how fast the kit comes on. It spools amost as fast as the Stillen kit.

From all my research it seems that all the people having problems with the TT kits are cranking up the boost. I don't want to go above 380whp on my stock internals so I don't plan on going above 5.5-6.0psi if I get the kit.

Most of the Eaton units should be in the 2k range, not sure how much of a credit is possible for trading in the units. I don't think the next Stillen upgrade will be very cheap, the plenum certainly needs to be addressed if more power is planned.

Has anyone with a Stillen logged the intake temps with Cipher? It won't get the true temps since the blower is after the throttle body where I think the temp is taken from, but would be interesting to see if the plenum is heat soaking the intake temps.

The plenum has to be heat soaking some what. The intercooler is too small but at least we have one at all.

The new blower needs to have a larger intercooler. I wish Stillen made a vented hood for the sedan.

They are going to be giving me that upgrade for free or I'm suing!!!

I would def drop 2k for the upgrade to the 90 blower, if it really is only 2k.

Really?
If it cost me $1,000-$1,200 for the parts after some kind of a trade-in and got me to ~380whp with the same instant boost I would do it. Hell I might still wait around and see what becomes of this.

Headers/cats would become more of a need as would changing out the stock injectors. The Stage 4 already has a 750cc injector. I would much rather have a better piggy-back like a Unichip or Utec and new injectors.

Most of the blowers regardless of size M45-M112 should be between 2-2.5k.

But don't think that you're not going to have to pay for the R&D happening.... 800 for a pulley, 1 injector and a locked SS box for stage 4 was hardly a deal.

Don't get me wrong the Stillen system is fun, it sounds intense, and generally it's a great kit.

Keep in mind what seems like 75% of the people who get the kit start out looking for; Reliable, simple, no need to tune, safe etc.

All kits have their flaws, the Stillen kit in the end is not very flexable to a power hungry driver. Sometimes it's just better to change directions.
