The key fob i used was from an Audi and the logo was almost the same size as the infiniti logo. but i had to get a dremal it to make the pattern alil taller to fit the infiniti logo in there and then superglued it down.

Just received all the gear. But got a few questions. First is the key part. Can I just go to a home depot to get an extra key cut or do I need to go to infiniti? I am not sure if our keys have a chip imbedded in it or not. I am not sure what that little green tap is on the tip of my infiniti key? Is that the chip? Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks!

You can have the new key cut anywhere but just take the chip from your current key and put it into the new fob. If you look at the bottom of the handle part of your key you will see the square cutout, that's where the chip is at. You just need something small enough to pry it out. For the new key you will also need to get the handle cut so that it fits into the flip. I had my handle cut and key cut at a lock smith and he charged me $25 bucks for the key cut and handle cut.

Thanks kid fuzion. As for the led what led type did you use (part number)? And did you ever figure out a fix to get the led to not blink a few times? How many times does it blink now?

I used these LEDs, http://www.lsdiodes.com/shop/index.p...a5424faff7d4fb accorfreak gave me the link. No I haven't figured out why it blinks more than 1 but it's not really a problem. I forget how many times it blinks but I think its was either 2 or 3 quick blinks.
