Modified the seatbelt guide bracket, holy cow I should have done this a LOOOOONG time ago. No more seatbelt hitting me (or my wife) in the neck!

Is this a generic bracket for all aftermarket speakers that size?

I got a check engine light for crankshaft sensor, which was just replaced with oem last year, so I didn’t think that was actually the cause. I read up on the code and oil pressure is a critical aspect of this code, so I checked the level in the old oil burner...

Well, something has definitely changed since the last oil change. I was religiously at one quart for 2500 miles until around 125k miles and then it went to one quart per 1000 miles till 155k miles.

This time, the oil was pretty much gone! When I put some oil in, I could hear it hit the bottom of the pan!!
Pretty sure that’s bad

So, now starting the process of looking for a new motor. I’ve seen on the SOHO Motorsports site that they have some really nice remanufactured engines. I think when I do this, I’m going to do the long block, engine mounts, all hoses, radiator and fans. If I do this, I want to do it right. I don’t want to put in an old engine and run into all of the same problems down the road.

Anyone else have recommendations for good remanufactured engines?

Mine is a 2004 coupe. I think most websites I have done research on say that they're the same as the map lights.

Okay thanks. I have an 04 coupe and I think i need to jiggle the whole housing unit out. It appears your light covers stick out more than mine like almost convex while mine kind of sit further up in the door panel.

Yeah the only reason I went 1/4-20 is I didn't have any metric taps handy in my basement and didn't want to drive to the shop for this project.

You have just sold me on the Panamera running lights. They don't look rice at all, very high end looking. Definitely going into my eventual retrofit that will be happening after rust repair and before front end wrap.

Drove the coupe 500 miles this weekend with 4 passengers and their luggage onboard. Averaged 21 MPG highway going 85 the whole way. Lots of drone when loaded down with people, only solution is to downshift often and keep the revs around 3k cruising and all is well! Duct tape patch is holding up too, the Eastwood frame coating I was waiting for arrived while I was up at Acadia so that's a project for later this week.
