Most things I found say it's from unburnt fuel getting into the exhaust. So retarded timing, or somehow injecting fuel during deceleration would cause what is essentially back fires.

Figured out how to make it sound like strait popcorn. Probably won't stay in this map full time though, lol.

Made a quick video. Don't mind traction control killing my fun at the end there

motordyne exhaust is 5 percent off now for Black Friday I think but it’s a 1500 set up
I've seen reviews and listened to several video clips of the Motodyne exhaust and it sounds great, but it might not be the best fit if i build the car with forced induction. I was thinking some down pipes would be a cheap way to add a little louder sound with the stock exhaust, I am really just looking to increase the tone of the exhaust at the moment, I don't care to spend $150-200 on some down pipes to achieve what i want right now. I don't want to butcher the stock exhaust by taking it to the local muffler shop and cutting out and running straight tubing to the stock tips because thats kinda ghetto and i have heard G's/Z's that have done that and the cab drone is bad and it doesn't sound all that great IMO

Being automatic most likely supercharger. I think Megan Racing has he cheapest down pipes out of the two you mentioned, however i will look again to double check. Adding down pipes to the stock system adds a little more sound to the stock exhaust without anything drastic like installing a full A/M system per say.

Megan Racing are by far the cheapest out of the 3, Tomei are over double that and Motordyne are close to $750, thats half the price of their exhaust

I'll probably order Megan, however i am waiting on a email/pm reply from THMotorsports about a particular exhaust they have that I am interested in also

04 6mt Coupe - motordyne 5/16 ART pipes TDX2; KWv2; Hotchkiss; custom seats.
Took off the roof and window trim to spray. Probably going to give the grill and wipers the same treatment.

Next thought: how to clean up / refresh the windshield and rear window seal without pulling/replacing. They are still holding strong and undamaged, but the FL sun has taken about 5 shades out of them and it's pretty obvious next to the gloss black wrapped roof.
