2 weeks later, still no exhaust leaks.... Should prevent the exhaust from rusting out too.

Got some stuff done on the car and began working on the CF anti roll bar experiment.

3D printed core was glued together and then a single layer of CF woven tubing was hand applied. This was then sanded a bit for a clean surface that I can start doing the infusion layers on top of.

The very first layer of CF was applied by hand just because the 3D core was so delicate after being glued together. After the first layer was on, the infusion layers could proceed

Next I started with the infusion layers. Here's about 4 layers of 6k CF tubing applied, then vacuum bagged and infused:

Result is a bar that is now up to ~23mm in diameter (initial core diameter is 18mm). So I built up about 5mm in diameter and goal is to keep building up with infused CF layers until I reach a maximum diameter of 35mm...hopefully by then the stiffness will be comparable if not higher than the Hotchkiss version.

The only major mistake I did is I thought I won't need a trap in front of the pump and i got resin into my pump, so now I have to rebuild.....yes, a very stupid mistake, but such is life:

I also relocated my washer bottle to the rear of the car. Ever since I installed my new front splitter, because of the venturi tunnels built into the splitter I had no space up front for a washer bottle (it sits in the bottom right corner of the bumper, right where the splitter tunnels are now). So I had to find a different solution. I bought a Nissan Armada washer bottle (nice more square shape) and swapped the washer motor and ran some plastic tubing to the trunk area. The level sensor is the same as the G and now everything works. The only thing I am missing is an additional carbon fiber bracket to keep the bottle more tightly in place.....but that wont happen until I rebuilt the Edwards vacuum pump.

Fits Great! :

And the wiring is no problem since the new Nissan Armada washer bottle has the same level sensor and nearly identical pump motor:

Only thing left is to add that CF bracket once the vac pump is rebuilt.

I rebuilt my vacuum pump and was able to complete my washer bottle relocation....hopefully I won't be doing that again.

The carbon bracket came out glorious with a top layer of 4x4 carbon and a few layers of gloss clear

I ended up using a bunch of scrap pieces of carbon to make the bracket....doesn't need to be too pretty since hardly anyone will every see it, so don't care about the weave alignment that much.

Done:

and the spare fits perfectly:

Now that this is done and the vacuum pump is running its time to finish that carbon sway bar.

I had to take advantage of the Z1 black friday sale and picked up a full set of 2-piece rotors. They are seriously very nice, I should have gotten these a long time ago.

Did a test fit today of one of the fronts and I think these will complement the brake cooling and the calipers nicely

My brake ducting is all done now as well. Has been for a few months, but don't recall if I posted this before with the rotor removed:

I got some more work done on the CF sway bar with a few more layers of CF sleeve applied, almost ready for another infusion, just need to bag it and go. Maybe Ill even bang it out tonight.

Nice @Row2k , I picked up the same rotors. Are your ducts pulling the updraft air from the badass splitter or do they also pull from front bumper?
I am am planning on rebuilding and ceramic coating my brembos (illusion purple) and maybe other things as soon as I get a new stove for the kitchen so I can safely bake in the outgoing oven.

Changed another flat tire today, I swear these new all-season tires have magnets in them to pick up large screws/nails.
