What I Replaced My JWT TT G35 with

So, I had a 2005 G35 coupe, JWT twin turbo kit, and a lot more things on it, and I loved that car. Great power, great handling, I tracked it pretty regularly for a couple of years, had a blast. 2014, I deployed to Afghanistan for a year, and decided it was time to sell my baby, which I did, to a good guy, who flew out from Texas to California to buy it. Should be some links in my .sig to the cardomain page, which details almost everything I did to my G.

While overseas, I bought a car through BMW's Overseas military sales program, picked it up when I got back from AFG a week ago, and thought I would share. A 2015 BMW M4 (coupe) 425 HP, 415 ft-lbs, 0-60 in 4.1 (3.9 for the DCT, but I got the 6MT, 1/4 mile in 12ish, and handles on rails.

I loved my G35, but this M4 is a beast. Can't wait to take it out on the track.

Only two minor things I dislike about it:

1. looks a little bit mustangish

2. the shifter, while it works great, seems really long compared to the short shifter and short shift **** I had in my G35. But that's easily fixable.

But everything else is just awesome.

are u delusional? Looks nothing like a mustang. If anything the mustang takes design cues from BMW. And the DCT **** is tiny. Not sure what ur Talkin about

Well, I did say in my original post that it was a 6MT, so I don't have the DCT. I have a regular shifter, manual, 6 gears plus reverse, if that's clear enough.

And looks are subjective, I think it looks great, but to me, it does have some similarities to a Mustang.

I know what you mean about the shifter. I got in an M3 like 2 years ago at a car show in San Diego and just fcukin with the gears I felt like I was rowing a damn boat. The shifts are so long. I'll bet if you put a short shifter on there it would top the 0-60 of the DCT.

Nah, man, that's how long these shifts are. Like a foot between gears.

Most likely this.

All joking aside, 58k for a striper, 80k fully loaded. Carbon ceramic brakes are an 8k option, which I did not get.
