Neighborhood? I live in Homestead. If you didn't know most of homestead, at the least the area I live in is farm country.

Don't watch the vid if it offends that much granps. Anyway it was done on a close race course.

I WANT TO GET SOME GAUGES FOR MY G (AIR/FUEL ETC) BUT I DONT KNOW HOW TO INSTALL THEM MYSELF, NOW I SEE THAT YOUR G HAS THEM SO I WANTED TO KNOW WHERE COULD I GO TO GET THEM INSTALLED..WOULD A REGULAR MECHANIC BE ABLE TO DO THIS? OR WHAT?
THANKS IN ADVANCE
I am sure a regular mechanic could figure it out, but I would find a high performance shop since they have more experience with gauge installs.

It's a good thing I didn't lose control huh? How does someone lose control on a rural road with no one else around?

Unbelevieble. This guys loses control of his car, ends up in on coming traffic, and then wants to put the blame on a speeding kid! Well if he wouldn't have ended up in on coming traffic that kid could have been going 200 mph and nothing would have happened to him.

I am glad he is ok, but it's nobody's fault but his.

Yup, it sure is a good thing. I'm sure the kids that caused that first accident thought it was impossible to lose control on a rural road as well. Guess they were wrong. The point is you are NEVER in full control of a situation, and speed kills. I can only hope that if somebody has to be killed that it's the person driving recklessly that is the one that has to bite it and not the innocent person that just happens to be there.

1 - I graduated from Homestead Senior High. Used to work the night shift at the Exxon station on US1 and Campbell Drive. Used to live over behind Harris Field. Also used to live in FL City down behind Jack's Bait and Tackle just before you head into the Keys. I know it very well.

2 - For the record, it's spelled "gramps" not "granps." In my post I didn't mention any of the things that are so appropriate in regard to your public display of idiocy. It doesn't offend, it amazes. Here we have someone who actually thinks running 80+ on a two lane while filming themselves is okay. You need to go ahead and wrap your 'baller' car around a fvcking pole before some one minding their own business happens to wander into your path.

3 - Doesn't this belong in the 'teens raise your hands thread?'

Race on, boy wonder. With any luck you'll smoke yourself before this kinda bull$hit ends badly for someone else.

+1.

Sidewall separates.. Pothole that wasn't there yesterday.. Dog/deer/kid/whatever bounces into your path. Any number of things can happen. It's so obvious it's pathetic.

Key word here is kids. This guy still lives in the 'it'll never happen to me' category. Hopefully it will.

No matter how safe or great of a driver you think you are, **** can and will still happen.

Please drive safe and slow. Let all those see your car and not your body on the side of the road.

Trust me. Being in the hospital sux!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its not fun sitting in the same exact bed for over a week!

DRIVE SAFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There are more mature and safe ways to show off his "badass and nice" car with out being completely reckless and filming it himself. And if it is posted on the forum to get praise you have to anticipate that it will be denounced as well by others. The car itself looks great and I would be impressed just seeing the pictures.

What are you fuking jealous with your 'baller" comment because I can afford to mod my car like I did? Read the thread again, I never said anything about being a baller. The truth comes out huh? Envy is an ugly monster.

If someone happens to wander into my path it sure would be nice if it were so I wouldn't have to read you preaching in every fuking thread where speed is mentioned or implied.

Mr. all grown up. Stop fuking preaching to people and mind your own fuking business.

With any luck it will end for you so you stop preaching. We don't need your parenting advice. Again mind your own fuking business "Gramps"!

Don't you belong in the "senior citizens collecting Social Security raise your hands thread."

I didn't post to get praise, especially by total strangers. I could give a chit what type of comments I get.....GOOD or BAD, but I sure don't need to be lectured about my driving.

What I find funny is how some will lecture on the internet to total strangers.

Wow, advice from the guy who lost control of his car, put it into on coming traffic, and then blames the speeding kid for T boning him.
