Yes I think that is everywhere. I guess it is a stage most people have to go through. Its just a shame people have to learn the hard way.

If your name is Jooshee then a G has too much HP and so does every other thing with wheels and a motor.

It just comes down to whether the 16 year old will be an idiot and be cocky and think he's the baddest kid around with the best car and is the best driver or if the car humbles him.

I know this is an old thread but the G35 is a joke. There's a severe lack of torque and as long as you're not trying to be a hero from the get-go there's no way a 16 year old would have trouble driving it.

When I was 16 years old I had just gotten a 1997 Camaro Z28 with an M6. That car was 100x more fun to drive than my 2006 Coupe 6MT.

What it all comes down to is how smart/stupid the driver is.

I dont think the g35 has a severe lack of torque.. it has more than enough for anyone to be reckless, but driving any car in general comes with responsibility.

I was going to get my dads old 04 X, but it was to much for the lease buyout, so i found another G. I have a car payment $234 a month, parents pay for insurance and yea.

Theres 2 reasons i have this car.

1. My mom works for insurance and shes not a freaking idiot. She says shed rather ahve me in a powerful 4 door thats really freaking safe (this car is really safe BTW) than some POS Civic thats small and would get crumpled up.

2. my dad just DOES NOT want a POS car in his driveway leaking oil, always needing costly repairs, ect. He has issues with my sisters mint 96 Subie Outback. Says its trashy.

3. My dad likes the Gs and says they are great, reliable, practical cars. And this one will get me through college and it still has warranty!

4. Im atleast making an effort to pay for some of this car. I work for my parents, i dont do drugs (honestly wes, i dont know how your mom lets you keep your car, but thats up to you and her...)

5. Civics get stolen to much for my mom. She hates them and Hondas in general lol

6. I may drive fast, but i dont do stupid **** and i dont do it ALL the time.

it all depends on the maturity of the driver...

Having said that, the old saw applies:

Power Corrupts...

G power corrupts absolutely!

Too much Power? There is no such thing as too much power when it comes to any car no matter how old you are. Too much STUPIDY just like a 16yr old on another thread that did Doughnuts on an intersection and got Boned..now that's what's TOO MUCH.
