G SQUAD
The speeding alone is grounds to lose your license. Your reckless driving just ensured that you will. That means reciprocity with NY and you just lost your NY license. You'll be REALLY lucky to walk away with a $2000 fine and your license.

I had similar situation. I got caught 106 in 65 on 287...
NY plates, NJ cop..
U WILL lose priviledge to drive in NJ!!! They cant do anything about NY, but they can disallow u to drive in NJ for a year or longer..
Best Advise.... Get a LAWYER, pay him $750-$1000+ that he charges, he will knock MOST of your tickets down to penalties only, u pay $500+ to NJ court, u make judge happy that he just made money for the county, himself and cop....
U go on with your life...
If u need a good NJ traffic lawyer, PM me... Mine was great... He is in Fair Lawn, NJ though, but he might take your case....
Good Luck

I agree with ColinR...grow up and slow down a little...we get many fatal's on the major highways in Jersey...I too would contact a lawyer. good luck!!!
Ok guys heres the results. My court date was yesterday and I appeared before the judge. I didnt bounce for a lawyer. They ended up suspending my New york license in NJ for 45 days. As you all said NJ has no jurisdiction in NY so i guess I can still drive in New York. They ended up lowering my 120mph speeding ticket to a 94mph and dismissing the other four BULLSH*T tickets. Total fees came to $325. Thank goodness I didnt bounce for a Lawyer ($1,500) .. I dont mind not driving in Jersey as I do not live there.

You know, until ColinR spoke up, I was beginning to lose faith in the common sense of my fellow G'rs. I have a 10 yr old daughter, a 2 yr. old son and a wife whom I love dearly. If some jerk-off driving 120 mph lost control of his car and wiped them out, he'd have a lot more than his license to lose...Now, I don't know the situation around our dear friend Frank Steeve's accident, but hopefully we all learned that our G's are not made of Kryptonite and as fast and as sweet as they are, are not invincible. Slow the heck down, or go to a speedway where it's safe.
Lastly, shame on any of you G'rs who told him to fight it. He clearly did the crime, he should do the time (or fine).
