am i missing something? what is an alcantara?

 

alacantra is a synthetic suede. it's the same material used in Recaro seats and some momo steering wheels. That seat is really awesome and i don't know how they got that. if anyone knows where its from, i'd like to know also!

 

Isn't that a preproduction picture? Look at the center console, it looks like the early 03 center console.

 

the alcantra looks pretty nice and makes the seats look comfy. but, i'm not sure if i'd want it on the doors.

I think it would look sweet matching the alcantara inserts to the color of the car or to the aluminum trim.. Wonder how much that might cost.

maybe thats a *** version.....*** versions got frickin parking assistance camera, auto adjusting side mirrors for parking, folding side mirrors, etc....

 

Wheel's on the wrong side for it to be Japanese..

That picture circulated a while ago, and I do believe it is the pre-production version of the G.

 

i saw a G35 with parking assist cameras on the rear bumper on the way home from Temecula a week or so ago... i'm sure it can be ordered from Japan or something... it was a left-handed car, so the whole car wasn't from Japan...
