Check this before your powertrain warranty is up!
^ They're a vendor on here....I ordered a complete kit for $260 grommets installed and I'll get $100 back when I'll send my old valve/rocker covers. Best deal I've found and they haven't had any leaks on the test cars, so it's worth a shot.
I found this and purchased a set along with new valve cover gaskets. Going to swap mine out next week. Beats paying 500 bucks for unnecessary new valve covers.

IMO R&D should have installed on a few cars that post here a lot so we could get decent feedback... the fact that there is virtually no reviews (other than manufactures and one member) makes me skip it.
Since a couple of you are getting them - at least we'll have a couple more reviews - but it will be many months before you have enough miles to matter...
I'll take my chances with these and pocket $240. I think someone has had them on over 8K miles and so far so good; no leaks. Once I'll get them installed, I'll be checking for leaks every so often, but in opinion, it's a win win situation over getting stock covers for $400, which actually go bad between 30-60K miles.
I don't think they're molded to the cover since the dealership has you buying them seperately. I could be wrong. I'll keep you guys updated.
I paid 60.00 with shipping and I bought new valve cover gaskets (driver/pass) for 30 bucks.
He' saying the seals/o-rings are molded to the valve cover... only r&d factory sells replacement seals and you have to drill out the OEM to replace with r&d's
I had one side replaced a few years ago with very low mileage(under 40K). I recently went in to check the other side after almost 8 years of ownership and it checked out fine. I'll give it another look next year when my extended warranty is about to run out.
clicking sound on cold startup
I have a 2005 G35 coupe
everytime i do a cold start for about 3 seckonds there is a clicking sound. Ive read some other posts and people have said its from metal shaving as well as plug 6 as you were showing. i have not checked it yet but could that be the same problem? and is it covered under powertran warranty?

Is it safe to leave the motordyne spacer and Mrev2 and grounding wire kit install when bringing the car to the dealership for this warranty or do i have to remove it before giving the car to them so they can't blame it on the modification?

man this suck so bad, i just brought my car in cus my cylinder 6 is flooded with oil and you know what, they said my power train expired 2 months ago... freaking A**!!!! so I guess anyone 05 and below powertrain have expired. 6 YEARS // 70,000 MILES. I'm only at 58,000 miles and I got denied!!! so how much does this fix cost and have anyone done a DIY for this?
