I should have done what I now suggest to all new members, "Attend meets and hear systems in person!" Two systems were sponsored and I disliked both so I sold them and moved on to another mistake....Borla. There's a real POS system, awful sound and worse quality. To bad Motordyne wasn't making exhaust systems back in '06 but glad I have their 1/2" spacer ISO copper!

Many of the things we're learning right now about intake is stock is technically best- especially if you're not tuning. Intake may be nice to change the sound... if so then it's largely subjective. I ran with a stillen high flow box with K+N cone filter, Z tube and ended up with a MD 5/16ths spacer. With the stock exhaust the thing sounded disGusting.
If you're not doing a tune and you're not doing your cams then headers are a waste. They barely qualify as a bolt on unless you're lifting the motor. In addition, they lead to rasp if not addressed in your exhaust- Rasp, btw, is the enemy of the G35 community.

Where/what is the proper front lip to order for a coupe? Will cheap ones like this fit bad or r they much the same?
