You won't see a difference in a single dyno run or two, but you can see a difference after making the motor work a bit, or four to five consecutive dyno runs. Either way, it's not the dyno that matters, it's the real world performance where heat soak in the summer will affect you more

It states that @3000rpm at WOT it takes 1/10 second for air to travel 30 inches(average short raim length I guess). So near redline, it'll take even less time. Let's say the tube is 140° and ambient temp is 75°. How many degrees do you think that air can climb in 1/10 second? It's simple science. I think the only reason plastic is used ever is for low cost production. Nismo uses plastic and their products are extremely overpriced for what you get. It's highway robbery for the cost it takes to make their intake. And simple solution for those who are worried about temps of a metal tube, get a can of ceramic spray. Ceramic dissipates heat extremely well. I've touched a motorcycle exhaust pipe that was ceramic within seconds of it turning off after being ridden. Was not hot to the touch

New purchase: stock '05 DG....1st external mod?

I want to concentrate on first mod or two on externals...wheels / calipers etc..

What might be looking at stock DG '05 model to make it more sporty?

Congrats on the purchase! Looks like you've got the sport package already (spoiler, 19" forged wheels) so you don't need new wheels desperately unless you've got the cash to spend. You could get a BBK if you wanted...OEM Brembo's are around $1k and Akebono's are a little bit more. Depends on the brand. Looks tinted already so that's taken care of and it looks lowered as well.

I'd say to start out, update your heads and tails to the 06-07 lights. OEM projector headlights are your best friend, never go ebay on those. Same goes for the clear corner lights. That should get you looking clean and fresh.

I'd say upgrade to Brembo kit from a wrecked 6MT

That car is otherwise super clean & I'd leave it be...

Need advice! 07 DG Sport Coupe Non Brembo

Suspension: Coilovers. Mainly street/look, no track use. Comfortable ride is a must

1. Stance
2. Fortune Auto
3. BC
4. Add Swift Springs into the mix

Brakes: Don't really need a BBK Kit but like the look of the Brembo style calipers:

1. Oem Brembo
2. Just upgrade rotors and pads and clean/spray stock calipers
3. Any other suggestions
4. Pads- Need suggestions

Exhaust: Not one for getting replicas but what am I losing/issues will I have to deal with.

1. HKS
2. HKS Replica
3. Any other suggestions

Intake: Whatever is healthier for my baby.

1. Rev Up Airbox
2. ZTube n Filter
3. Any other suggestions

Thanks in advance guys.

Hec

None if u use springs besides scraping ur under carriage. I am on g35 stechs and tokico blues. I was slightly disappointed in how similar the ride was, but then again its a good thing.
Lot more road noise?
Only with coilovers.

Recommended spacer size for just a tad perhaps?
25R and 20/25F
Thanks

BC. Cant beat the value. Has the best reviews and info available on them

Brakes: Don't really need a BBK Kit but like the look of the Brembo style calipers:

1. Oem Brembo -yes
2. Just upgrade rotors and pads and clean/spray stock calipers -if silver yes otherwise no.
3. Any other suggestions
4. Pads- Need suggestions - hawk pads maybe?

Exhaust: Not one for getting replicas but what am I losing/issues will I have to deal with.

1. HKS
2. HKS Replica

I say dont touch the exhaust But look at fast intentions.

Intake: Whatever is healthier for my baby.

1. Rev Up Airbox
2. ZTube n Filter
3. Any other suggestions
Z tube and rev up airbox will give a growl. Do this before buying an exhaust u may be able to settle on just this sound.
Thanks in advance guys.

Hec

If you guys are looking to upgrading your suspension don't just settle with coilovers... sway bars is the real difference maker when it comes to handling imo after the coilovers ofc.
