no i dont recall seeing this video! but i do have have a true dual stillen exhaust on my car.

so out of HFC and art pipes which would you go with and why? and is there even a difference between them, besides the looks? im leaning more towards getting art pipes atm out of all 3 options.

If you are going FI don't waste extra money getting there. Just do it.

Ohhh I didnt read well. Well if you go either, you probably wont be satisfied with the Stillen. I would get HFC since they are more muffling. I think the Stillen is one of the exhaust that don't work well with aftermarket cats.

The stillen true dual will have rasp with hfcs. That's the setup I had. It was only between 3400-4k though. ART pipes and spacer will give you your best bang for the buck. After that, the transgo kit and different final drive gear are best for acceleration per price benefit... grounding kit is a noticeable difference from what I hear, and for the cheap price, it's a no-brainer

awesome thank you for clearing up my questions!!

so my car is currently in the shop getting a body kit put on and getting fully repainted red again, and the seller never told me the rain guards dont come with the hood, and didnt include mesh for front bumper either. does anybody have any tips or any ideas on how i can cover the vents up? besides paying the guy another 100$ just for rain guards.. and how do these get put on?? glue or do you make custom brackets or something to hold them in place??

Usually body kits have little tabs or wires where the mesh goes so all you have to do is find a nice looking ALUMINIUM or STAINLESS preferably aluminium as these wont rust cheapest place be to just go to your local hardware store n see what they got. Also is your hood 2 fiberglass sandwiched together? Most are if so is the underside have ugly cut outs? If so it would be better looks wise if you plan on doing car shows to mold the mesh to the underside of the hood and fill and smooth out those cut outs. Trust me its looks way better and the bumper mesh I glued mine on its better that way when things hit it it wont fall off. But make sure the sop doing the work makes all the mesh face the same way in line and symmetrical from a show stand point one crooked mesh piece will just ruin the whole job IMO sorry im just picky

Idk if youll be able to see but notice how my mesh is pretty parallel to the ground and both sides are facing down (yeah its a stock bumper I was short on cash and time when I painted it lol) but i like that size mesh from far away it looks like a solid piece

Yes its fiberglass hood but not sure how it was made. I dont have pictures of the bottom but i can try getting one. I didnt see any hooks or anything at the bottom of the hood to hold the mesh so maybe itll have to get molded in? Im just mad everything isnt already tooken care of because i dont have bodywork knowledge.

Well either way it will look a lot "cleaner" with the mesh molded and yes rain will go through in to the engine bay unless the shop can make some sort of channel system like the dodge viper vent clips have. But IMO, car cover park it indoors itll be fine. Hopefully the shop does a good job and makes everything fits like its factory made, atleast its not a carbon kit where your basically stuck with what you get.

Its my daily driver. I live in rhode island so the weather isnt that nice if that helps lol. The shop came up with 2 ideas. Either cover the hole up completely then just paint it black. Or seal the hole but add mesh in between the hole and other material. if we go with the mesh / fill in idea, one of the painters had a great idea, paint the background material red, while the mesh is black... any opinions on that would be great!!

i am getting my car repainted red again, but the roof, trunk, mirrors, vents in the hood and rims are going to be painted black.

Ok with the mesh and the hole sealed imagine how hard its going to be to keep it clean and looking nice. Sure itll look sick at first but slowly water pots and dirt, leaves, bugs gather in there it will look "sick" but in a bad way lol if you want that look itll be better to paint a mesh looking design harder for the painter but better in the long run and they should still make a drain of some sort if you seal the holes and it gathers water and as you should know if water puddles up on paint and sits in the sun.... itll leave crazy water spots/lines and being in those recessed vents it will be very difficult to buff all of it out. I understand your weather probably isnt that forgiving so what if you seal it with a drain but use plexi glass with a mesh design painted on. Then you get the look you want and you back light it with red leds which I think could also look pretty sick. Up to you man thats just my opinions and another option?

great tips! i also worried about water gathering up in the vent's, so i was either going to clean them up very often. or just drive another car to work when it rains. but say i did do drain holes, wouldn't that still get water on/in the engine? thats why i wanted to cover the vents up since mesh let's water by.

and where would the drain holes even be put? would they just drill a hole at the bottom corner of each vent??
