Not sure what is best to do first:
1. BC BR coilovers (not sure which is best between Rubber front/rear or a Pillowball front/rear) + SPC rear camber kit + SPC toe bolts
2. Body kit- Nismo front (poly) w/ splitter, Impulse sideskirts, and Chargespeed rear bumper (fiber). All would prob be ordered through R1
3. Varrstoen ES222. Now before I get the hate, I cant afford $4k+ wheels so Volks are out. Not sure what the best offset would be though
4. Motordyne Shockwave TDX2 + ART pipes

So I could use some guidance on what order to go about these.

 

I'd def say ART pipes and sway bars first. Sways will improve handling more than coils, for a fraction of the $$.

Well I was looking into coilovers so I could get rid or reduce the amount of wheel gap. Which lead to my first dilemma regarding how far to drop it since I wouldn't be on my ideal wheels and tires

 

Get your wheel/suspension dilemma situated first before buying anything. Which is more important, wheel style or ride height? Whichever you want more then that will determine the other. If you go suspension first you limit your wheel options (can be good or bad) but if you go wheels first you limit coil optons, again can be good or bad.
As for what to buy FIRST, my first purchase were Hotchkis sways because I wanted better handling and they ROCK! Very cheap mod with noticeable benefits and doesn't really have side-effects.
Basically, YOU need to determine what is a bigger priority at the moment; style (body kits, lips..etc), stance (coils and wheels...etc), or performance (exhaust, pipes...etc). Start there then once you get that decided you can move forward.

 

Wheel spacers make the gap look smaller. Search threads and find pics. That could be a cheap alternative to coils

I was wandering whats the best thing to do to the G to ramp up its performance, and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I do eventually want to get a turbo on there, but i've heard a few people say get a new intake etc. Its completely stock atm (performance wise) except the exhaust.

Any advice is appreciated. Cheers

 

Motordyne plenum spacer cheap and you feel the gains
Any intake but z-tube recommended
Hfc is a must cause our stock sucks
All will cost you around $500-600 at the most but deff worth it

 

I will look into that, i already have a scorpion exhaust fitted, just need that extra little umph haha

 

Quality HFCs or ART pipes are $5-600. Plenum spacer is ~$200. Z1 ztube and cone filter is another $80-100

I wouldn't say "only" the non-rev, just more noticeable

 

Here's a correct statement: the plenum spacer ONLY benefits the non-revup lower plenum.


A spacer does absolutely nothing for a revup lower plenum. <-this has even been confirmed by Motordyne.

However, put a non-revup lower plenum (stock or MREV2) on a revup engine plus a spacer, and good things happen.

 

Why does anyone buy MREV2 when they can just buy pre-05 Lower collectors then?
