Finding oil in ur spark plug well is a sign of relief if your loosing oil. I found a pool in my far rear passenger side. Leaking plug well gaskets is common with the VQ, and then they only sell them with a whole new valve cover.

Well its sad that the money was already spent on the Injen if you are not satisfied with it. Keep in mind the CAI no matter what brand is only going to net you a few measly HP on the VQ35DE , RevUp or non RevUp. CAI mods for this car add more to the aesthetics and sound than any performance gains from what I hear, some even cause a power loss at specific points in the power curve. Manufacturers can tell you it will add 10HP...but keep in mind that might be only at 6000rpm...how often you drive your sedan at 6k...well to each their own. If you have the bandwidth take a look at how much money you could dump into intake mods for this car...Plenum, intake, spacer, the whole shabang or a cosworth...price points are ridiculous for the gains put down. No matter which way you go after the mod bug bites you, getting a tune will bring it all together to reach the potential power from your mods.

Side note: I have an OEM RevUp box im willing to part with if you are going to go that route. PM me

I have the rev up airbox with z tube and like it. Seems to smooth the flow over the non rev up airbox

I was quoted $500
I really want to do it myself though I just would really need to research it more

The whole o rings and valve covers process throws me off a bit.
Plus I've heard when one side is bad it's best to change out both sides while you're at it

You sure? I thought the covers are like.. 30-40$ each from infiniti

either way, i had to change 2 of my coils cause they were misfiring and that was pretty pricy as well today.. once again, this **** is stressing me the hell out lol, all my savings towards my uprev tune and work wheels is gone now =(

Yah if once I do the tune it shouldn't matter then I'll just leave it on and won't changing it, I do like the sound and once my others mods are on it should be a lot quicker.
