Y pipe (reccomended brand?) - Motordyne Duh
Test pipes (recomended brand?) - If you don't want to pass emissions (unless you have secret squirrel tricks) but I would go ART
Injen CAI with bypass filter - yeah...no
Unorthadox underdrive pulley kit -Dude...no.lightweight pulleys not under drive
Cobb tunning accessport - might be cool
Front/rear lip & side skirts (recomended brand?) - keep it a G

Well i thought megan racing cause it is rather cheap and still t304 stainless steel and headers for same reason i guess. Test pipes because im gona run with non foulers to pass emissions. Injen yeah ive heard z tube is better with a K&N. Lips and side skirts i wana keep the stock look just lower. Strut bars deffinently no subs. And what are some better mods for cheaper?
So where to start....
First off what condition is the car in, how many miles and are you noticing any wear items that are starting to affect drive-ability? Keep in mind when you start modding you start exposing other weaknesses as well at times. Adding a rigid suspension will affect the bushings. Adding CAI can cost you too if it fouls the MAF. If you add a set of coils it will drop your car and put your camber out so you will need a camber kit ..didn't see that on the list either...after all this is it more important to look good, perform good, drive good? Or all of the above?
Well let's tap the brakes for a second here and try and bubble some sanity around what you are trying to accomplish. cheapest/best eh?... you might consider buying used for parts of better quality than cheap new 2nd rate. You get what you pay for imo and the G35 is not a "cheap" car to mod. Nor is it a car to expect massive increases in power and performance without going the forced induction route. You can spend thousands of dollars for 30hp at the intake manifold and exhaust. Another thousand or so getting it to sit right and then all the stuff you missed along the way to make it safe, reliable, and dependable. Oh but wait you want it to look good too...

As for the car itself i am still in the market to buy one when i get back to the states this fall. I owned a G sedan back in high school and i am now turning 20 so still rather young. I am commited to buying another one soon as i get back. Some may say its stupid to buy parts before i own a car but i dont really care what some people think. I am looking to spend 10-14k on a car and put around 5-7k into it.
I guess pretty much do full bolt ons with some suspension work and lip kit with some rims. Plus small things like window tint etc...
Thank you for some imput. -Matt
Alright you have brought up some points i have took into consideration and some i have not. I want a quick car that can handle decent running autocross but not going to spend a ton of money on. A moderate build with pretty much overall good parts. Not the best not the cheapest. Best of both worlds kind of. I want to get coilovers obviously but dont want camber. So i shud get camber kit for...?? I want to be able to look good and handle well and perform rather good as well. Not looking for a track car. Going to be my daily driver.

Best bank for buck suspension mod is Hotchkis sway bars. Period.
Looks for a used exhaust from Fast Intentions or Motordyne if you want a good quality exhaust.
motordyne spacer guys help me out here. had to buy new hardware and a gasket for my old school 1/4" spacer. tony said i can use the 5/16th hardware no problem...question is, the gasket i use and that comes with a normal spacer kit is the aramid gasket correct?

Si, muchacho.
Hey,
I'm looking for a new strut setup for the G coupe that will last through heavy winters on aftermarket springs. Right now I am looking at the Eibach Pro Kit for springs (1'' drop), but am unsure what strut to match them with. I used to have an S13 240sx that ate three sets of struts when it was lowered (oem, and KYB GR2's). If I lived somewhere with no snow I'm sure it would be fine, but I'd like something that I can confidently run in winter without it dying in only a few seasons. Ideally, I'd like them to last as long as oem shocks would last on the oem springs. I've spoken to a few members privately about this and had a few suggestions, but most members had not run their struts through multiple winters yet. I've known others with different lowered cars also on KYB GR2's and they didn't last through winter either, so I'm pretty sure I've ruled that particular strut out.
Can anyone point me in a direction that has lowered, G35 in heavy snowfall experience, half of the year? Thanks in advance!
