Welcome to 'Driver Mike.

I can't get anything to come up with that part number...

do you mean it won't work when you use the keyfob and/or push the the button, or you can't even manually lock the doors?

If it's the former it is your door lock actuator, and lots of people here have had to replace them. If they aren't working or are causing problems replace them and it should solve your problem.

Premium fuel is required for our cars, preferably 93 but 91 is okay as well. Some say it doesn't make a difference, but the general consensus is yes it will.

My opinion is if you can't afford the difference in gas you probably shouldn't even have the car, but that's just my .02.

What makes you think it had regular in it the last 5 years?

To answer your question, let me put it this way. Lets say you smoked for the past 5 years, is that any reason to not quit smoking? Of course not. Two wrongs doesn't make a right.

threads merged....if you've got a lot of questions about your new G please post them here rather than creating tons of new threads, particularly since all of these topics have been covered multiple times.

P0442
Definition
BBEVAP control system small leak detected
probable cause
BB1 EVAP Purge Solenoid faulty
BB2 Canister vent solenoid faulty
BB3 Blocked vapor canister
BB4 Faulty EVAP pressure sensor
BB5 Loose or defective fuel cap

what should I do? and how can I reset my check engine light to see if it comes up again?

and about the actuator where can I get it the cheapest?(I dont have a keyfob...and the power lock dont work but it works for the passenger side)

I started throwing this same code 2 days ago. I checked my gas cap, it was tight so probably not the problem. I'd also like to know how to reset the ECU to see if it was the gas cap.

Bump.
