Few Questions. Yes i Searched first ;-)

First, is it really that hard to take out the headlights? i have an 05 and i've heard mixed ideas here. Some say no you dont have to take off the front bumper, others say that is safest. All i wanna do is put some different bulbs in the 'strip lighting' and possibly the fogs as well as paint the backing (suggestions on bulbs?)

second, why are the jdm tail lights less expensive then the others? quality difference? am i missing something?

Last, regarding clearcorners.com is there any cheaper way to buy/make nice quality side markers????

I appreciate the help in advance. thanks
-Tim

Headlights can be a pain the first time. I've only done it by taking off the bumper. I dont know how to do it another way.

What do you mean you want to paint the backing? The inside of the headlight?

It is possible to change bulbs without removing the headlights. Turn the wheel to the inside and remove 3 fender clips from the fender liner. You can then pull the fender liner out of the way enough to squeeze your hand in to swap the bulbs. I've done it a few times. A little easier with smaller hands.

As far as clear corners go you can paint them or put an overlay. I've seen pictures of a forum member who opened up their clear corners and painted the inside black.

if you want to change the "strip lighting" you will need to take the front bumper off, once u take the front bumper off then it becomes easier and easier, try it and you'll see

Did headlights with my buddy, took a lonng time but was for sure worth it...
No idea about the JDM tails, I dont really like them anyways.

And for clear corners, I bought mine on ebay for ~20 bucks and have had them
for 2 years and have worked flawlessly.....

You didn't search very hard did you, there's a sticky and dozens of threads on this. Someone accually just made another one last week. Anyways no it's not that hard, just take off your bumper, it's the fastest way!

If you are just changing bulbs you do not need to take anything but the fender line out to get all the blubs, If you are taking them out to bake / paint them that is another story.

JDM tails are not cheap, not sure where you are looking.

Clearcorners is probally not what you are looking for, clear corners can be sourced at all dealers but pm a vendor on here for a price.

I found a set of jdm tails for 350? maybe they're just the housings? I'm not sure. I was looking for clear corners, but on the website they were priced between 100-200 dollars for nice ones. Speaking of which, in upgrading the tails and headlights for my 05, i know for the headlights i would actually need to buy the projectors, but for the tails do i only need the housing?

and ShanesG, my apologies for not searching effectively , i figured i'd put my questions in one thread in stead of bouncing all around

and as for the strip lighting, i just wanted to a put a brighter or better looking bulb in it then what is already there (i'm trying to come up with some inexpensive mods until i actually have money

clearcorners.com sells custom clear corners, headlights and taillights

if you want just clear corners then hit up ebay or riverside infiniti for JDM one

ebay ones are the cheap ones and the ones from riverside are the OEM ones
