Provide more details about the problem... such as when it happens and when it does not.

You're going to have to do some more testing and see if you can narrow it down then.. because you'll need to give us more info if you want any real help.

See if the screeching stops immediately when you let off the gas right after it starts screeching yet before the 5 seconds passes in which it would stop on its own. See if it also does it in reverse. Rev the engine with it in neutral and see if it still makes the noise.

Are you absolutely certain that it's coming from the back of the car?

When it screeches... does the car accelerate slower than when it's not screeching? Does it still screech if you accelerate from a low speed in which you did not use the brakes to previously slow the car down to the low speed?

yes it stops when i let off the gas but when i start accelerating it starts screeching...and no it doesnt do it in reverse...and no it doesnt make that noise when i rev in neutral. and yes its definitely coming from the rear...and when it screeches its about the same speed i guess...and no it doesn't screech when i accelerate at a low speed...

How loud is this Screeching noise? Does it sound similar to the screeching of a belt, or more of a metallic grinding type noise?

You should consider posting a short video clip of the noise.. it would help a lot for troubleshooting purposes.

it gets pretty loud the more i press on the gas like i said after 5 seconds it stops. and i really dont think its the belt cause if it is, i would have heard it from the front and i check the belt and it looks fine. but yea more of a metallic grinding type noise...awhile ago all of sudden when i check my rims little bits of parts of it were chipping off andi dont know if the screeching sound would have anything to do with that but...i was getting worried. but i will post a sound of it tomorrow.

My guess is that you have a stuck brake caliper in the back of the car, and the pad has worn out so that the wear indicator is rubbing against the rotor and making that screeching noise.

Take a look at your rear rotors and look for a wear mark on the rotor caused by the wear indicator from the pads. Also, try to see if you can see how much pad thickness is left on each side of your rear pads. You should be able to see them without taking off the wheels if you look between the openings in your rims.
