I warm it up until the temp reading is accurate because 1 minute after leaving my house I'm already on the freeway. If I'm going local I drive slowly to warm it up, but I usually hit the freeway so I warm it up.

Just long enough to get the oil circulated before I move, usually about 45 seconds, then I drive soft until temp is up

Yeah I let the oil circulate as well. But I keep it under 3K till it warms up. But if I hit the freeway straight from the house I'll warm it up.

Oil will circulate in about 3-4 seconds after starting the car. One should drive GENTLY until the oil / water temps are up but other than that, you can start and drive.

Yeah my friends brother is a Tech for Nissan. He laughed when I said I use to warm up the car for like 5 mins. So I stopped doing it.

I warm it up for about a minute. My 2004 6mt starts idling at like 1500 RPM and I usually pull out of the garage when it hits 1000 RPM idle.

True, and I only give mine 10-20 seconds, but then it takes me a few minutes to get outta my 'hood so by then we're good to go. I do let it warm up a few minutes if it's like 30 below, though even then it's not bad since I will have plugged in the block heater for a few hours prior.
