To answer your question OP, Nitto 555 are not that hreat a tire compared to the Falken's, mine even happen to lose air on a regular basis ( 1 to 2 lbs. per week). Falken 452's seem to be the best bang for the buck in their price range. I'm scheuled to PS2's next when I need them but, if I hear more good things about the Hankook's I might change my mind. GL with whatever decision you make.

Thanx for the your input 2k6 (and for bringing this thread back to the O.Q.). So far I'm leaning towards the Hankook V12 because of how they've done in the Car & Driver tire test and a Euro magazine test. Trying to stay at 850 installed. There's been some good recommendations on this thread, but I can't really afford to spend 1200+ on tires.

If you go with the Hankook tires, please give us a 5K update to see how you like them. GL with the hunt.

I just bought a set of Hankook's about 2k miles ago. I love them so far. My camber is off a bit so I am sure I will notice ware before most people but I will keep you guys updated at 5k. They were only 825 installed for all four.

I have had 2 out of 3 of the tires your asking about. Nitto 555 all the way, great tire.

I always go for the best price, and they are usually nankang, hancook, and kumho, and never ever had any complaints.

maybe I'm missing it, but I cant find the wear rating on tirerack.... do they not offer that info?
