I think my throw out bearing is goign bad

Almost to work this morning and push i the clutch as I'm rolling and feel a vibration in the pedal as well as hear a swirling sound. Feels like rough, dry ball bearings.
Scared it's the throw out bearing.

What do you think?

sounds like it could be. If you are stopped, sitting in neutral (engine running) and start pushing down on the clutch pedal does the noise start? And then stop when you let the clutch pedal out? If so, I'd be pretty certain that it is the throwout bearing. Not an expensive part, but as you're probably aware the labor could be expensive. (I just changed my clutch/flywheel/bearing this week).

Im pretty sure thats your throw out too. If you do decide to change it, i suggest you to replace your pilot bearing, throw out bearing, clutch, flywheel too. Mind as well replace all those while you can.

Both bearings are pretty cheap, but like someone said if your not doing this on your own, labor will be pretty expensive.

you dont have a pilot bearing, you have a pilot bushing. little need to replace the bushing unless you were upgrading to the Nismo roller pilot bearing.

Funny, it's being intermitant. Sometimes I feel it, sometimes I don't. I drove it home 50 miles yesterday from work and felt it ever so often but not every time I pushed the pedal.

how many mi's on your car

when your sitting at a light you don't leave it in first with the clutch in do you? if you do like many do, thats why your bearing is going before the clutch.

Just hit 130k miles. Lotta miles for a 05' I know. I drive 100 miles a day.
I do sit at the light in 1st if it's a short light, if it's a long one I pop out.

It runs perfectly. I need to replace the plugs, just for maintenance reasons, but it runs like a scolded dog.

I just contacted the previous owner and he said the clutch was just replaced before I bought it. Hmmmm. I wonder if it's the TOB at all.... Stange. So if that is true. I got the car with 114,000 last June and it now has 130,000, so 16,000 mi. later...
