What's the best course to fix the damage?

Would it be more efficient to get a new bumper (I found an OEM primed bumper on kijiji for $200)

OR

To have it smoothed out and repainted??

Halp!

hmm well they'll have to R&I that bumper to fix it anyway, so compare the labor cost of repairing the actual dent to $200. Whichever is cheaper, go that route. And wash your car.

Don't think that one will smooth out very well. Opt for the replacement!

Hey all,

thanks for the replies! ...I guess i'll take it to my mechanic and see what he's charging and what kind of assurances he will give me as to the qualify of the finished repair vs. installation and paining of a new $200 bumper.

As for the Chargespeed bumper, I love the OEM bumper.. I find the little 'fins' on the chargespeed annoying!

aaand as for washing the car... I took these pics a week... Rihanna's been cleaned up since then!

I'll keep everyone posted as to what happens!

Hahaha like the name of the thread. I had the same issue but I think painting a new one would be cheaper in your case.
