will i be running lean?

after searching i saw people talking about running lean but the threads were really old, around 04. so i thought i would get some better answers

i know the 05's have a different ECU

I have an 05 with 29k

with test pipes ( hfc's coming this week), MD 5/16 iso thermal, MREV2 and z tube will i run lean ? i wont have a chance to dyno the car until a few weeks after the mods are on and I just want to make sure my afr will stay in check

hopefully tony can post some info too

thanks guys !

i think you will be good...nothing the stock ecu can not handle...not like you are supercharging or turboing the car...

if you are really that worried...just take it easy on the car until you get it tuned...

The ECU can handle that. Just reset it after you intall your mods.

A little. Not to the point where I needed a tune, but obviously it's best to have it. First time I got tuned, I had my exhaust, spacer, HFCs, and intake. I had to get a retune after I switched to my ART pipes.

^ It may be a little but not significant enough to effect anything. Good choice of mods also!

do you know what your afr was when you had that first tune ? also if i was running lean couldn't i look at my temp gauge and see if its above normal ?

sorry about all these questions i just like to be 100% sure, i plan on having my G till she is no longer repairable so i dont want to hurt engine life the slightest bit

theres no other car with the lines of the G

i wouldn't worry about it at all these cars are actually tuned quite rich from factory for an N/A car. the test pipes i think set off a code though unless the lower 02 sensor or spaced out from the pipe.
