ok so i had a check engine light on and the codes where knock sensor and camshaft position sensor. so i took it to the dealer and they changed the camshaft sensor for 800 dollars, but 2 weeks later the same symptoms come back. my G randomly has no power to it but when i close the door the power comes back. and again when i try to start her up it cranks and doesnt start till after 5 tries. is my camshaft sensor bad again?!?! has this ever happend to you?
800 dollars? geez. some poeple on this forum have either 2 much money or are to un-mechanically inclined. check out how easy it is to replace that sensor

$800 sounds ridiculous. There's some certified techs on here, curious to see what they say. Definitely search through the DIY section and avoid going to stealerships whenever possible.

Yah.. take it back.. You should get the service that you payed them to do and if you think they didn't change it then get it checked by a another dealership to just confirm that they changed it. Good luck!!

That sucks, tell them they never fixed your problem. Ask to talk to their manager and let him know you are very upset that you paid $800 and the problem was not fix, make a big deal about it. Hopefully they will not charge you.

Thats insane, just order it online and have one of your local mechanics install it. These dealers fix it temporarily and then you come back again for the same problems. My car doesn't see dealers only my mechanic does.
