You can just decide to sell your dads car? You think you can afford a new Mustang by selling a G? You think you'll have a few grand after selling the G for a "new car"?
Go to school, man. I heard basic grammar is learned in elementary.
Okay I'm done giving you a hard time.

Keep the G, I'm sure your dad would really like your appreciation and gratefulness in his gift that he's spent time/money/effort/love into giving you.
Oh and btw, good luck with that...Personally I do not recommend buying a car that's in that state of condition.
Alright smart *** The G is my Car.....second of all I said from the AUCTION meaning the car is 3 times cheaper if anything or probly has a rebuild title, or probly hit somewere thats not major, so yes if I can pull a Mustang for 8-11 grand out and sell my G for 15-16 grand then yeah I can have a few grands saved up..

Here's why:
130+ more horsepower
130+ more torque
equivalent fuel economy
Mustang is about 100 lbs. heavier than the G coupe - basically irrelevant
Leather interior available in either
dual zone climate control in either
Bluetooth availale in Mustang - not my g
back up camera available in Mustang - not my g
Hard disk drive available for music in the mustang - I'm stuck still fighting with a Nissan ipod adapter that's a p.i.t.a. to find and change songs with the factory head unit. The hassle and expense ($1000->$2000) to change over to a double-din headunit I struggle with
Heated seats available in either
Additional sound deadening in the 2011 and up Mustang
traction/stability control in either
G35 coupe is becoming affordable to the "civic crowd". RICE-driven depreciation is inevitable. On the other hand, Mustangs have been around forever, and one almost never sees a Mustang riced-out. There is that "Redneck Factor" to overcome with the Mustang, to be certain.
Basically the 2011 Gt has all the interior features I have in my '04 coupe, plus equivalent fuel economy, a better entertainment package, and 50% more horsepower and torque. Okay, there's no sunroof available for the Mustang, but that glass roof is interesting.
I wish Infiniti wouldn't have f'd up the styling of the G coupe when the G37 came along. I simply don't like it, so it's tough to see that as my next car. Plus the 330-hp VQ has less appeal when compared to the 412+ hp 5.0 v-8 in the Mustang.
I don't mind the styling of the Mustang - though I think I still prefer the G35 coupe. That's really the only saving grace now for my G - that plus the overall economy and the fact that my car probably still has 100,000 trouble-free miles in its future.
All that said, there's no way I'd swap my G35 coupe for a v-6 Mustang.
Infiniti really needs to get off their *** and re-style the G37 and throw in the vk56 or something similar.
