Hey guys, just some info for everyone. There was a Recall on the 2006 g35 coupe COMPLETE headlight assembly, as well something with the air bag .

I'm in the process of fighting infiniti regarding the engine oil burning issues with the 3.5 . There was a Recall on a bunch of the engines for oil consumption issues. My car goes thru a quart of oil per 500km of driving.

 

The airbag was an easy fix, basically they just tie wrap the harness together and add a couple more on either side to keep the wires from moving.

The headlight recall if probably going to be tricky since they don't even manufacture the headlight assembly anymore I think...

Good luck with the oil burning, it wasn't a recall it was a TSB that only applied to cars under warranty.

EDIT: Also, the headlight recall really only affected 2006 models since the recall happened during 2006 and all those 2007 model year cars had their headlights replaced before the cars were even sold. Technically it was 2006-2007 though.
