^^ Yup, if I haven't spent so much money into my G, my choice would be an STI or EVO myself...

I came from an evo. I didn't abuse it.

It was fully built 2.3L stroker with a 30r turbo pushing over 400awhp/400awtq on a mustang dyno, 91 octane. possible 10 sec car. Ran low 11 before the 2.3L.

It had zeal function coilovers and a bunch of other stuff. it had 70k miles. I sold it for 17k.

Personally, the G35 is better.

I went from an 05 G35, to that Evo8, and now I'm back to a G35.

Just get a 335i with cpo warranty and you should be ok. T

hats the only car i see within your price range, that would be a upgrade to the g35. Maybe a audi A4 quadro,

E46 m3 would be on the list as well.

EVO is a whole different beast from a G. Like comparing apples and oranges. You're paying for strictly performance with an EVO....other things like quality/design of interior and creature comforts are far sub par compared to a vehicle such as an Infiniti or BMW. I've had a few EVOs pulled apart....and unless you're going for an all out track car, IMO, they're a cheap car.

I personally would vote for a Porsche 911/936/cayman.

This is the only good answer I've seen here. + 1 on the Porsche. Personally, I only buy Lexus and Porsche and Infiniti. There some of the most solid cars built out there today.
