To me every time I see an ls swap, I'm amazed at how small the motor is, well looks. Is it just me?

STU... you should post a video on youtube so everyone here can enjoy! I tried to check out your FB page but can't see it without being a friend.

Also, are you guys swapping ls3 motors in? I've seen a few done, and one lsx. Any advice on what motor I should look into?

I picked the ls3 because it has a better heads better manifold and higher output already it's also newer 2011 as this will be my daily driver I want to get a lot of life out of this motor. the Camaro SS comes with the TR 6060 transmission and it's supposed to be an upgrade to the T 56. I got a full pull meaning engine transmission wire harness all accessories and pedals ECU and MAF all that extra stuff really adds up and it was a savings for me to go this way rather than a crate motor. the downside is most of the other guys have been doing ls1 or ls2's and some things are different.....so it feels a little riskier for those of us that are not mechanics and fabricators as a profession

Stu and Hybrid, what are you guys using for radiator/fans? OEM?

I'm planning on running AC and I heard that the temps will go too high if so, with the OEM rad.

Thanks

Thanks. Your radiator hose looks molded. Where did you get it? Did you replace your fans as well?
