The cop and I were sort of laughing at the situation. This was my first ticket in about eight years, and he could see the the ownership date, so he knocked it down from 102km to 75km in a 60km zone... no points.
But WTF... I guess I really need to be carefull.
**** it though, I'm happier than ever to finally have a G35 in my driveway.

Well, at least it was only a speeding ticket. When I was in college, my room-mate's girlfriend bought an M3. We took her to the dealership to pick up her car. She got in her new car. And proceded to get T-boned right in front of the dealer on her way out. (M3 was totalled). In her defense, the other guy ran a red light, but it was still a sad sight...

a friend of mine got his drivers licence (for the first time in his life) and decided to celebrate it ( russian style 
) ... when he and his friends got out of vodka and beer, he went with his buddy for a ride ... both could barely walk
long story short, both were lucky to stay alive and the car was totaled ... jail, DUI and so on ..
all that within 10 hours of having the drivers license
hehehe
I am sure it is not a record but the story is pretty entertaining imho
