Ok everybody! For those of you who don't quite understand(little brains) why I sold my car so quickly! Let me put it in different terms. And yes, its in the following order..
1. You meet a very attractive woman at a lounge.
2. You take her back to your place.
2. You take her down immediately (hopefully you all know what this means).
3. You begin to develop a mild relationship.
4. After time passes, you start to lose an interest in her.
5. Still very attractive, but you don't have that same feeling when you first met her.
6. And lastly, you tell her your interest in her has diminished.
7. She gets the hell out of your place.(no bill of sale).
The moral of the story? You move on the next gorgeous woman, and start from scratch.
How's that for an analogy??

this kid just keeps on digging a deeper hole for himself. if you are comparing buying a car vs a relationship, your in a lot of trouble.
the GS400 was nice umm 7 years ago???
back then it was alot nicer and sportier then my dad's old E320..... but in today's standard.... its hardly a sports sedan. its just an old toyota. not to mention the old GS drives more like a boat.
i agree the interior on the G isnt that nice. but u get what u pay for. design wise, it doesnt look cheap. interior and exterior is quite a bit better then the previous models.
you should've just waited for the M45 and trade both cars in.

I bet the reason why he got rid of the G is because he couldnt afford it and had to go back to his old looking GS,lol. That thing looks like a freakin boat, man you dont see that. That Lexus has been played out for a time now, dude. Oh and dont forget to go to Sunday night bingo, the old ladies will love that glorified camry.

I don't understand your attitude. The G35 is nice but by no means is it the best car in the world. You talk like it is. That's okay, it's your opinion but don't put other people down. That's impolite.

You can do a google search for the definition.

Actually, I think the only thing I mentioned about my GS is that its more of a daily driver for me. Thats it! Oh yea, also my signature. And yes, I have been part of clublexus.com for a couple of years.

I mean no disrispect, but I think that your analogy is wrong in one part. I think YOU were the one "taken down" (screwed) by this woman after losing 5k $ LOL. To make your analogy correct, you should include #8. After she left, I looked for my wallet and it was nowhere to bee seen.
And also, in your analogy, that girl is a WH0RE while the G is a refined lady.

KAZAM,
I understand completely how you feel. Not so much about how you feel about your ex-G35 coupe, but how you feel about suffering from buyer's remorse. I had the exact same thing happen to me. I bought a 2003 Nissan 350z purely from an emotional perspective. I fell in love with the car's looks and had to have one. Well, after about two months of a jarring ride I, too, had to sell it at a tremendous loss. Now, when I purchase a new car (or anything for that matter) I try to put my emotions in the back seat and focus on the everyday use of the car. Certainly a car owner needs to feel emotional about the purchase, but too often the emotions cloud our thinking. After the Z debacle I've learned to test drive the car two or three times in various driving situations and on various pavements.
Best of luck to you!

I think that the Lexus are great cars, but if I wanted a Lexus I would have bought one. I loved the looks and sportiness of the G Coupe. That is why I chose to buy it and nothing else.
The G35 is a great performance car with a lot of luxury. As far as the interior, doesn't bother me a bit. It is sharp and not distracting, like a sports car should be. There are nicer interiors out there, but there is nothing wrong with the interior on this one. I test drove a TSX before buying the G and really liked the interior on that car, but lets face it........... The G is one BEAUTIFUL CAR!!!!

Permit me to correct the analogy
1. You meet a very attractive woman at a lounge.
2. You take her back to your place.
3. You take her down immediately
4. You begin to develop a mild relationship, and start dating her to tell whether or not there is a real interest there.
5. You realize that after looking around and weighing your options, she's the best for you
6. You propose
7. You realize that maybe you were an idiot and didn't look around long enough before committing to a long-term relationship. I mean, who rushes into something this important?
8. You leave her at the altar, but still pay for the wedding
