Help with Salesman at Grubbs Infiniti - DFW
Help with Salesman at Grubbs Infiniti - DFW
I orginially was working with Mike Rabbas at Grubbs Infiniti in DFW. I went back in to check out the new '05 Coupes and Mike has left the dealership. So Bob Feldman was standing there and help me with the test drive. I had a great rapport with Mike. I qualify for VPP and we were going to add back in mods with 3K discount I got from VPP. I did not have a rapport with Bob and my wife did not like him at all. Anyone have suggestions of mod freindly salesman at Grubbs.
Thanks,
Thanks,
I don't know about mod friendly or not, but I've been dealing with Ralph Kinchen this week and he was very nice. I didn't ask about mods yet. But I don't think it's the salesman you need to worry about, it's the service manager right? Just a thought...
If you want to be buddy with some at the dealership, it would be the GM. The sales person can only help you get a deal on the purchase price. The rest is up to the sales manager and GM. As far as mods go, it's up to the service manager. If problem arises, you can talk to the GM. Other than that, the sales person can't do squat unless he or she is dating the service manager.
Grubbs as a dealership is known for being one of the most (if not the only) mod freindly dealership you can come across. Any of the sales people should be friendly in that regard. Talk to the Manager and you'll get someone who you're comfortable with.
Thanks for the advise. I'm not worried about the price, I'm getting the VPP deal so its fixed price at 1.5% over invoice. I have had some bad car buying experiences and I was very confortable with Mike. Unfortantly there is the wife factor she did not like Bob so that has to be addressed. Thanks
if you are in DFW, go to sewell...that's what i ended up doing. they will do VPP pricing (i just picked mine up last monday), and they pride themselves on customer service. other little perks they offer - free car washes (if you trust people touching your car, lol), free loaners, if you are at work, they will come pick your car up and drop off the loaner, and some other little things i don't remember. i went to grubbs first, but after going to sewell, i can't say enough good things about the guys at sewell.

I'll third the praise for Sewell. After buying two cars from them, I can't imagine going anywhere else. I met with the service manager before I bought the G35 and asked him some questions about the '03/'04 non-Brembo brake problems to see if he'd feed me a line. He didn't. He acknowledged it was a problem right off and told me they had a number of unhappy customers before Infiniti stepped up to the plate with an extended maintenance warranty. He also didn't blow smoke about being 100 percent certain the '05 brake revisions fixed the problems. He felt that Nissan addressed the problem, but didn't try to lead me on with the usual oh-yeah-it's-fixed-no-worries-mate crud so I'd buy the car.
It seems kinda sad that a dealer being honest is all it takes to impress me anymore. Man, my standards have lowered.
Grubbs is great from what I've read. But Sewell is an excellent option in D/FW, particularly if you live on the eastern side of things. Avoid Crest like the plague.

i ended up buying from mike bloodworth at grubbs. he offered excellent service, great product knowledge, and was very straight forward and personable. i went to crest before hand, i guess i wasn't fit to be one of their customers or something, i didn't even get a phone call back. sewell was very helpful and friendly but didn't have/wasn't willing to work with me on my needs. so far, i have nothing but praise for the grubbs clan.
