what will it take to beat a E46 M3 (besdies TT/SC)?? sorry, newbi here!

lol, funny how originally it was supposed to be between just G and M3, now goes to RX7??? lol..and SL600? god, why didnt u say Gallardo? lol.
those two cars are awsome, dont get me wrong, but totally not comparable with the G and M3. RX7 is a pure sports car from the 90s.. beautiful and performs great..but with more problems than u'll ever be able to handle. and if u wanna talk bout moded power, there are alot others that u can pick besides rx7.. ZX300, Supras..they all make bigger powres than rx7 if moded right..so not all that special isnt it!! anywyas, thats totally outta topoic. SL600, well, there is less of those than 360 Modenas.. so yeah.. unless u a millionair with alot of money to spair. i'll stick with the G and M3 territory.
back to the topic, hmm.. i think everyone is making a good point. yes, u can put alotta good mods (FI included of cousre) to beat out an M3 and the total cost prob come around to bout M3 price. however, one has to consider the resale value, the insurance, the warranty, etc... sure u can put a supercharge or turbo in there, but it will take ALOT more time and money to take care of the cars (if u dont blow it up). so the actualy cost may be even higher on a FIed G.. and of cousre, u get nothin back when u sell it. as for M3, its got GREAT resale value...
on the other hand, it will be even more exciting to have a powerful G that can beat a M3 or even a Vett...that be so much fun.. it sure would put a BIG SMILE on my face!
decisions, decisions..like someone said earlier, im not ready to buy it for another 3 to 6 months, so im still looking and take my time. the whole point of the post is just to get some ideas as well as more info on both cars. of cousre, i think this question of M3 and G is also something alotta people wanted to ask or is thinkign about just like me!
i have heard the 05 G couple 6 speed is overall much better than the previous year models..except for one thing, NO BREMBO.. sigh.. of cousre, teh lack of torq may be something, but i dont think it decrease the performance. however, lack of brembo is just SUX!!
