body side moldings. Yes or No?
Those that don't have the body side moldings, are you getting any door dings?
Those with the moldings, how helpful are the body side moldings? I have them, but I think you have to hit them exactly for them to work. They don't look too bad, but I'd rather not have them.

I have them on my current car and I have gotten a ding or two with them there. It seems like the doors of other cars (especially mini vans and SUV's) are not on the same plane as our strip so it does not seem to help much.
I am about to take delivery of a new 05 and I did not get the strips on this car. Hope this helps...

The factory body side molding is very inadequate for protecting the doors from SUV's. Use these cheap alternatives to avoid door dings.
