^ less than you would pay if you want to make an 04 look as good interiorwise as the 05.

off the subject but is anyone looking for a 2004.5 in the Bay Area fully loaded with 7k? Just thought I would put it out there for anyone looking for a 2004 with brembos.

If anyone wants to swap out their 298hp motor & full interior from a 05 g35C for my 03 Brembos please let me know. I'll even throw in the 03 exclusive flat center console.

im also in the same boat on deciding which model to get. i think 05 is alot better overall, but not having the brembo and less torq is eating me up too... sigh..

as for the price difference. i dont think its fair to compare it that way. an 04 is def. gonna be ceahper than a 05 rightnow, but your resale value is diff since 05 will cost more than 04 in most cases (newer model).
now, once 06 comes out, the situation is the same... 05 will be cheaper and blah blah blah.. maybe i should wait for 06 to come out? lol..maybe they will add the brembos back on with other goodies such as projector light or something!!
when is 06 coming out anyways?

guess im back to square one on deciding what i want and what year.. :/

dam flaming over which years better i hope they improve over the years if not that just lazyness on their part. As for the brakes it was stupid not to have some with the brembo option. At less the brought it back with the G37(there not gold just silver looking) with Infiniti on it As for my preference i like the 04 for the exterior(clean and smooth). i like the 05 for the dash(tach&speed) but overall i rather have TQ over HP anyday cause TQ kills. lol

04' for engine purposes

I read on here all the time all the problems people are having with the 05' motors having oil starvation etc. I would weight that more than the brakes.

So, to contribute to an ancient thread. The posts that I have read suggest that the 05'+ is better than the 03-04' b/c of interior improvements aswell as power improvements, and if anybody wants better brakes they can upgrade.

Wouldn't it be just the same if you get an 03'-04' with brembos and just do engine modifications to up the power? I know for the money you spend on stoptech/endless/brembo/willwood bbk's you can upgrade engine components to deliver decent power to match, or atleast come close to what the rev-up motors offer.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but with the know-how that I have. My assumption may not be that far off.

p.s. People with brembo's bought them because they look good. (I also have brembo's)

I like my brembos in my '04... I don't need the nice interior, when I'm in my car, I like to drive, not dwell on the great inside. It's a never ending batter between years, haha, it goes round and round.

There's a lot more that's different than just the brakes... Personally I think the interior looks cheap and trashy in the 03-04's so that alone automatically disqualified em when I was looking to buy one. Its all up to the guy who's gonna drive it If you don't care about all the new niceties then get the brembos. Whatever. At the end of the day they're all G's!
