Speedometer and Tach is not working. Anyone experience this?

Well I checked the fuse it was okay.. Stuck it back in and turned on the car, and it seems to be working again. Weird. This happened after I did the easy ecu reset a few hours ago. I'm sure it's not related.

Great my Service Engine Light went on. What a day.

twice my speedometer got "stuck" right at 29 mph or so. needle wouldn't move up or down, no matter how fast i was going. funny thing was that the 5A tranny wouldn't shift out of 2nd gear either, as long as the needle was stuck.

very weird.. I would notify the dealer and have them check out everything. You don't want this problem to occur again.

g35doman, I remember now where I saw the speedo stuck at about 29 mph. It was in the "speedo, tach, +gauges self diagnostic thread I posted recently= Look Here.
If you go through that diagnostic check, you will come to a part that checks the gauges and sets them at a certain point----yes the speedo is about 29mph, tach about 1200, fuel about 1/3 tank, and coolant below normal.
Check it out bro. Sounds like yours just decided to go onto diagnostic mode one day. STRAAAAANGE. [img]/w3timages/icons/shocked.gif[/img]
