sorry, maybe just an urban legend. but i was told (and i dont remember the source) that programming the roll down time was done in the same way as programming the panic alarm time.

again, i dont want to spread rumors, so i asked ppl to correct if wrong. for those folks who have been around on the boards long enough, remember the rumors about the 2004.5 coming with more HP? haha, dont want to repeat something like that...

as far as why you cant roll them back up with the fob...that is like "harold and kumar go to white castle", its a basic saftey issue...
About the safety issue:

It may very well be a safety issue, but that would be stupid since they let you roll up the windows with one click of a button (inside the car) and they let you close the sunroof with one click of a button (inside the car). For neither action do you have to hold down the button until they are closed.

I would think actions INSIDE the car would be more important than automatically rolling the windows up from 20 yards away.

"I agree, why would you want to remotely roll down your windows?"

It's usefull for when your walking to your car on a 100 degree day and its 300 degree's in your g, even that 10 seconds of you getting to your car with the windows down helps a ton

I almost always vent my windows while walking to the car. On a sunny day the black leather heats up really quick.

I am not sure why the feature wasn't included from the factory. The allow the 'one up' feature from inside the car because of the sophisicated anti pinch system that the windows have. I'm not sure why this system wasn't sophiscticated enough to allow remote closure. With the KPtechnologies module the anti-pinch system still works when remotely closing.
