would it be a bad idea.

to put 245's on all 4 tires, would it make a big difference going from 225's in the front and 245's in the back or 4 245's all the way around ... (tires)
why would you want to do that, I like the staggered set up.
to my belief, I don't think you can.
*edit* before someone comes along and says "if you got the money you can do anything" I meant leaving everything the way it is and just adding 245's all around on stock set up.

If he currently has 245's in the rear, why will just changing front from 225 to 245 make his traction suck? If anything, it'll just reduce understeer, albeit at the expense of deep dish rears.

"As we learned in our six-hour Z thrash back in the October '02 issue, the Z's wheel wells will swallow a lot of tire. The fronts will easily accommodate 255s, and the rear can swallow 275s. With a carefully chosen offset, 265s and 285s are even possible. But while massive rear tires are tempting for visual effect, steamrollers will only exacerbate the understeer problem. We wanted at least 255s in the front, and were tempted to try 255s in the rear as well, but we wanted neutrality, not a tail-happy monster. For our first stab at tires, we chose a slight stagger, with 255/35-18s in front and 265/35-18s in the rear."

Based on what's been happening with my snow tires, which are not staggered, you'll probably get the tire pressure warning light after driving a few miles, but other than that, I can't think of any huge negative effect. Your dealer might have a small stroke about it, though.
